Azores Summit -- Why Bother?
President George W. Bush met with Prime Ministers Blair and Aznar in the Azores just a few hours ago, and the grim faces on those three, their staffs and the press all said that war is coming very soon. Mob Rubs Out Serbian PM
The assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic will not go down in history as the most famous political murder involving a Serb; Archduke Ferdinand's death in 1914 retains that title. However, the murder of Djindjic does suggest that Serbia is in for a nasty time of things. The saddest part of all is that it may take another strongman like Tito to prevent the destruction of the country. Click here for more.

US Senate OKs Nuclear Diarmament Treaty
With all eyes focused on the laughably few Weapons of Mass Destruction (surely a heavy metal band and not a buzzword), thousands of nuclear weapons were consigned to the scrap heap by the ratification of the Moscow Treaty by the US Senate. There was not threat of force behind this, which goes to show that the weapons aren't the problem -- the will to use them is. Click here to read why.
