Dems Must Make Americans Equal of Iraqis
The nine Democratic candidates for president have an unpleasant job ahead of them. They must find a way to sideline the other eight and still have enough left over to take on the best funded incumbent president in history. Yet, it can be done. Amber Alert is Law of the Land
While Congress is often derided as a talking shop of windbags and egomaniacs, they got something done this week, which Mr. Bush wisely signed into law. The "Amber Alert" system is now nationwide. Bennett Gambles -- So What?
William Bennett, right-wing social conservative and former cabinet officer, has admitted that he likes to gamble and sees nothing wrong with doing so legally. His critics are smirking with glee as they prepare to unleash the harshest complaint in the American lexicon "hypocrite." As much as one may hate to say so, on this one, Mr. Bennett is in the right.
