CBS Proves TV Worthwhile with "Hitler: Rise of Evil"
Watching the main networks on American television has become a painful experience. Reality shows, excessive commercial breaks, and pandering to the tastes and morality of the least sophisticate in society, it is generally awful. Yet, just when one is about to give up entirely, CBS provides two nights of brave, intelligent and watchable drama with "Hitler: Rise of Evil." There appears to be some spark of life at the Black Rock network after all. For more, click here.

Annika Sorenstam Misses Cut at Colonial
Female golf pro Annika Sorenstam took on the boys last week at the Bank of America Colonial and finished in a tie for 96th, missing the cut with a 5 over two-round total. Not a triumph to be sure, but she proved she merits respect as an excellent golfer. What troubles most, though, is the fact that her performance was news. Click here to read on.

Nike Throws $90 Million at High School Kid

There may already be a winner in the dumbest business move of 2003. Nike has given high school basketball phenomenon LeBron James a $90 million endorsement deal. Good for the kid, who may be able to pay for a college education someday with the funds. Or at very least, hire a business manager who's smarter that the people at Nike -- there is a large pool of those. Click here to read more.
