Wisconsin Primary Means Less than Media Think
The only solid fact that the press seems to be able to report about last week's Wisconsin Primary is the final result -- Senator Kerry 40%, Senator Edwards 34%, Governor Dean 18%, Congressman Kucinich 3%, Reverend Sharpton 2%, General Clark 2%. Democrats Miss the Boat on Bush's Military Service
Ineptitude can be an endearing, even charming quality, in small children. It is an unforgivable sin in a political party, and it is a trait that the American Democrats have in spades. Facing a self-proclaimed "war-time" president, they have chosen to attack his military service by hunting for documents that prove he ducked his duty. Canceling Flights is a Terrorist Victory
It has become commonplace for flights from Europe to be canceled due to terror threats. Indeed, it was a relief to see that around 60% of the flights in France last week were due to an air-traffic controllers' strike -- it made one nostalgic for the 1980s.
