New Jersey Drops the Torch
Senator Torricelli of New Jersey has finally realized that being crooked, and being caught at it, really impairs one's re-election chances. And so, he has dropped out of the race for the New Jersey Senate seat he holds just a month before voting takes place. The state Democratic Party is hurrying to replace him, but the party is to blame for re-nominating him and deserves to lose the seat. Click here to read more.

The Faces of Reason
Since the Al Qaeda attack on America last year, there has been a xenophobic cry of, "Why don't the Muslims in this country speak up?" Well, on the Curtis and Kuby program on MSNBC the other day, America was treated to four young Muslim American men acting with the restraint and decency their religion demands. Three of them had been falsely detained in Florida on suspicion of terrorism, and the other was their lawyer. The only un-American thing said was, "We have no intention of suing." Members of the media and their pundit buddies have been rather sloppy in labeling the Beltway Sniper a terrorist. It is true that he has killed more Americans this month than Al-Qaeda and Saddam Hussein put together, and that he has parents fearing for the safety of their kids during school hours.
